Unionists from Sentro ng mga Nagkakaisa at Progresibong Manggagawa stages today in Mendiola Bridge, near Malacañang, a Passion Play portraying the endless “crosses” carried by the ordinary Filipinos.
Low wages, contractualization, price hikes of basic commodities and services, and scarce benefits including lack of housing, medical care and educational support from the government represent the sufferings of the working class.
